smoking is terrible, period, big waste of money, not to mention the numerous health risks. I will NEVER date a girl that smokes

 

As a former smoker that started smoking at parties in high school while I was drinking...Don't do it. The stuff is like crack man. Before you know it you'll be addicted. Stop now dumb ***. It is not to be messed with. I smoked for 18 years. A pack a day for 16 of those years. I finally quit the year Texas put an extra dollar tax on them making the price around here $5.00 a pack. It's not worth it man. Save the money. Save your lungs. You stink enough as it is man, the smoke doesn't help any.

im usually a pipe smoker or cigars, because thats how classy i am The cigs are still to be social. ive yet to have myself a craving and i gave myself a rule. the day i feel compelled to buy a pack is the day i stop. until then though, its a good excuse to talk to that hot chick who's smoking out on the deck

yes it has worked not THAT many notches, last nights girl was one i knew beforehand so.. actually that one disliked the smoking. when i do smoke, i try and be courteous. i wont smoke if i know im going to see or be with anyone who doesnt like it. never in my car, never indoors. last nights girl surprused me (she wasnt going to the party to my knowlege)

and honestly, im not looking for any kind of relationship right now. just having me some fun.

whats ridiculous is at my school, in my department especially, just about everyone smokes like no tomorrow. every now and then I'll go outside and smoke a bowl in my pipe with them, but these guys smoke more in a day than i usually do in a month+.

Gary's not a fan either, but the people that do it make me laugh. I find them to be very funny.

And I have not as of yet seen Pinapple Express but I guarantee that I will see it. Stoners crack me up. I've known my fair share. Some of my best friends. They were often my entertainment on a weekend in a small town while in high school. You can always mess with them, and they;ll laugh at anything.

If you need cigarettes or some other "accessory" to get a girl to talk to you then you A) need to work on your people skills....and B) You really don't want to be involved with her anyway

Boost up your self esteem and let YOUR personality do the talking for you....you don't need "props" to be able to be social or start a conversation with the opposite sex

its not the only way i'm social by far, but when i do it is for that reason. I don't see anything too wrong with it as long as i have it in check, which i do.

I have never needed to smoke to get a girl, but if a girl i'm talking to asks if i want to have a smoke outside, ill go with.

yes i know there are health hazards and i'd be retarded to not realize it, but i can live with that. when i smoke cigs i don't even inhale, i smoke it like a pipe or cigar. is it still bad for me? yes. but less bad than inhaling? also yes. on top of all that on average I have a cigarette or two every month or so. I'm pretty sure I do more bodily harm to myself just working on and being around cars inhaling whatever fumes come forth from them

despite the fact that most of the time im extremely childish, i do posess enough self control to not get hooked. my addiction slots are filled up with other things (this forum comes to mind ). they day i have to choose between spending money on smokes or on cars is the day i drop smoking, and i will be able to do that, should it ever arise.

i know you guys are giving advice because you care, and i appreciate it, but ive got it under control
