I would buy a Wii out of any of those. I miss actually having fun with video games. Last time I remember really anticipating a system was the Super NES. Since then I've owned a PS1 and a PS2 but they just didn't seem good enough. So I think the Wii is the solution to my video game blahs.

 

ill admit, im really looking forward to the PS3, but i doubt ill be able to afford it. but then again, if i do use it as an all in one entertainment system, who knows. im heading off the college in less than a year, i might be able to work it in lol.

but i also really want the Wii. maybe its just me but ive always preferred sony and nintendo offerings than microsofts or anyone else (except sega!!! i still play my genesis!!! LOL)

ill probly end up getting a Wii first, and buying a used PS3 later. and unlike most of you, im with lalo on the controler doohickey. i think its kinda nifty. and if i dont like it, ill spend a few bucks on a regular controler. big deal. but i doubt ill get one. i really like how its set up now

Believe it or not.........Brian bought me a thingie for the TV that has all the old old Nintendo games on it- Duck Hunt included.

I wish Nintendo would bring back retro games.
When My girl was a baby and had her days and nights mixed up I would spend HOURS AND HOURS playing Sim City, Zelda and Mario.

 

Im starting to like the Wii just from what i've seen here. Im gonna be hard pressed though because in 5 years when they will acctually release GT5 for the PS3, i know I will want it.

 

we didnt have enough $ to get the premium, but the core is pretty tight...we dont own any games yet bot we got some on rent...NBA 2k6 and Quake 4...I hopefully am going to get project gotham 3 today

Actually April, the Wii will have most, if not all, of the games ever created for all Nintendo consoles available. You will be able to go online with Nintendo's 24/7 WiFi connection, and download old Nintendo games!

All of them suck though, except for the GT. I like doing burnout contests with my friends in the S281s though.

 

Sony claims you need HDMI or else your conole is not next-gen, then they go and make you pay $100 more for HDMI. And I though $400 was expensive, but $600? You have to be out of your mind!

 

Also, I use a projector for gaming, and all of the demos so far, people have had to stand p to play the Wii. Nice job on alienating a market Nintendo!

 

People don't have to stand up to play the Wii... Nintendo is just emphasizing how much more interactive the console can be. You can stand if you want, and you can make those big exagerated motions to move the wii-mote around if that is your cup of tea. Others will stay seated and just flick their wrist

And for those of yous that have a projector, I remember reading somewhere that they will have available a couple of doohickies that can be placed at each end of the projector, and it will be able to sense the wii-motes movements just as good as a normal tv.

 

You dont even have to buy a Wii for that part
