What can kill me in the Pocono's in winter?
We are staying in the Poconos in January for a few days, and I was wondering whether I needed to bring cougar repellant?

Cougars? Probably not. Bears? Yes. Cold? Yes. Snow? Yes.
Also, conveniences like alcohol, cigarettes and food can be difficult to come by, depending how far up you go. So if you enjoy any of the previously mentioned items, stock up before you get there.
If you're staying at a hotel, its all good. If you're anywhere else, enjoy what's there.
