My kid had her middle school valentines dance tonight..
I was in the carpool line for 45 minutes.
When I got up to the line to pick up my kid, cheers erupted.
The little boys are like "Call me" to my kid....Giving thumbs up, screaming and whistling about the car.
She was on super cloud nine..And I felt all cool.
Have I told anyone today.....I love my car?

 

Around here kids like anything with loud exhaust or open headers, cuz they think it has 1000hp

 

Man, that must've felt great. I bet your daugher loved you too, on the additional attention the car brought.

My daughters bus stop is at the corner where I live- basically my front yard. She hasn't ridden the bus in the morning since I got this thing- because she wants to be seen getting out of it in the morning.

Kids are so shallow- shes new in this school now everyone wants to be her friend because I have a mustang.... But driving past all those kids last night, she rolled down the window and stuck her head out and waved at everyone. She was in pig heaven!

Rice isn't so big here (although last night I did spy a honda of some sort with EVERY Rice category possible PLUS NOOOOOOOOS written in electric green on the hood)

 

My 14 year old brother wants a same thing. When he was younger he didn't want a ride, but in the past few months he's been asking me for a ride every morning. Reason? He wants to been seen coming to school in Mustang. So I told him as soon as he gets his license he can have my Mustang. I want Lincoln Navigator anyway.

Me; HUH? I got her for Christmas.

Me: No its a Fauxbra...


Chicken soup= try toast and cranberry juice in its place.

 

I remember hauling 3 sets of golf clubs to matches and kids begging to ride with me. Sometimes I felt bad because I could only fit 3.

 

Thats the best thing about Eleanor- two kids are mine and I have two seats in back. No spares allowed in there. Which eliminates lots of headaches.

Brian isn't going for the GT.. He thinks we need a vehicle with actual room in it.

I take what I can get in this town- we got what I like to call an infestation of new Mustangs......20s and counting. and I never ever see them elsewhere.

I just saw the latest Saturday- black GT.

I live off a road called HWY 119- there is a Huge nest of 05s on it, you never leave the house without passing one.

 

I do believe you started that trend...

 

Thats why the second vehicle here is a Tahoe. We could not get everything we want to take on vacation for a week in the Mustang if we wanted to.
Example.....14' Surf fishing rods and theres no way in hades you will get a 55 gallon cooler in there either.
Did I mention I was ready for summer and a vacation?? B)
