Yesterday I was feeling especially happy after work.
I think my new neighbor has a 68 fastback and I rained a river of drool over it(pic in SE regional under big show topic)
Then Brian and I went 3 houses down to cry over the fact they are putting bathrooms in the 4th bedrooms here now(we don't have one in the office) [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crying.gif[/img] And while we were talking to our neighbor- we saw a couple at our door.

WE GOT SUCKED INTO LETTING THEM IN!

Holy God- He wouldn't leave!! And wouldn't take no for an answer!

I don't know WTF right- But I sure as HADES am not going to pay 2k for a vacuum- even if he says- OOH I will give it to you for $600 Cash. Kiss my crack! $600 Cash would buy me some MRT Louvers, Ponies for my mustang and new pony spinners.

Word to the wise- if any one shows up to your door with a 3 liter of coke- don't open the friggin door, and if you are outside, RUN the other way.

 

Know the feeling. A number of years ago I was at a car show and we met a couple who were very friendly and after talking for awhile, lent us some books on classic cars, etc. They lived nearby and said they would come by, have a cup of coffee and get the books. Well..............they came by and before you knew it, they started giving a presentation on AMWAY.

And then to top it off, since it was 8 pm by then we went to Ruby Tuesdays and it was gross.

A vac. salesman visited my grandparents when they were in their early 80's, and convinced them they needed a new one. 90% of their house is hardwood, with a 12x15 oval rug in the living room.

My Uncles were SO wanting to meet that guy in person after he made that sale...

 

Wow I didnt know anyone actually sold door to door any more. All we get are the jesus people stopping by to help save our souls.

I would have to have some king of fun with them, like asking them to demonstrate the vaccum by cleaning my apartment or something. Then when they get done kick them to the curb.

 

He pissed me off by letting me know I should clean my ceiling fan.

Well you know what? You can figure out how to get 15 feet up in the frickin air and do it.

 

That's so funny I did not work for them but another company and they do a Power speach every morning way heavier than Wal-Mart anyway when ever they goofed up a demo and could not get the carpet clean or had to be fixed I was the guy to bail them out. btw I have a Sears unit.
