What about some of these hydrogen injection type of things that double mpg. Fits in your trunk and converts water over to hydrogen then injects it like nitrous is the way i'm guessing it works. Anybody know much about that? Burn too hot for an aluminum block or would it be the same or cooler?

My Daddy always said,

"If you want good mileage, drive like you have an egg between your foot and the accelerator. If you want to go fast, you're gonna break a few eggs."

I'm gonna have to put that egg back soon.

I like mine scrambled.

One thing that you folks can do to get better MPG is to reduce weight which will also improve performance.

Remove rear seat, remove spare tire/jack, pull out all insulation, gut the interior, remove A/C, pull out stereo, get pulleys, replace all body panels with carbon fiber composite panels, get a carbon fiber drive shaft, go on a diet.

There ya go
Exactly what I was going to mention. Theoretically, anything that takes stress off of the engine, helps with gas mileage.

I will say, the SCT Tune that I did for me JLT CAI kit has given me about 1-2 mpg in the city so far. I do not do much highway driving, so I do not know what it translates to there.

Of course, you have to spend about 15 tanks of gas to pay for the CAI and the SCT, but hey, it has a solid ROI.

:clown:
1-2mpg in the city? That is horrible...

You mean 1-2 mpg more.
