Yup. My daughter found this out for us Christmas Day when she moved the Xbox while it was running to make room for her new Kinects.

Ruined her new game. Tried to polish it but to no avail.

Really? User error I guess. All I know is I didn't do it. I don't have time for video games anymore.

Yeah, no offense...but that's a pretty obvious no no. Expecially given how unreliable 360's are. I'm scared to even breathe around mine...

Obvious and tech do not always go together for many. If it runs on electricity and has buttons on it somewhere, then it must be complicated to some. Any doubts about that were erased when I saw a girl in college trying to put a laser disc into a record player. Or maybe it was when I heard about the tech phone call when someone was very mad/concerned that the cup-holder on their computer broke. (The cup-holder in this case was the CD drive that when opened presented a nice place to set a cup of joe.) I could go on all day, but I always like hearing new tech blunders.

Nice! Now if you would have started a thread about how your Daughter ruined a game by moving the system while in use, you would have saved someone from doing the same thing. How do you feeeeeeeeeeel about yourself now?

I killed a game by tripping over one of the wired controllers. Oh well, it was only Need for Speed Carbon.
