thats right! 20-30 minutes of amazing musicianship
they take you through journeys lol

test of wills: "if I could turn back time, I'd replay the memories left behind, Then change the way I am. Although life has scarred my heart, A piece of me still burns bright inside, With hopes that I will find it (The Dreams I Have at night). Only time will tell what lies ahead. Only you can fill the page of life."

gettysburg: "Bodies dropping the blue and the grey. Muskets fire and cannon blaze. The union fights defending the town. But they're outnumbered and losing ground. From the north and the west more rebels arrive. Thousands more and the fight multiplies. McPhearson's ridge and the black hats strike. A rebel sharpshooter takes Reynolds life."

a change of seasons: "I remember a time. My frail, virgin mind. Watched the crimson sunrise. Imagined what it might find. Life was filled with wonder. I felt the warm wind blow. I must explore the boundaries. Transcend the depth of winter's snow"

divine wings of tragedy: "There was a time ...When nine choirs sang the endless melody of light. Music of the spheres. Threre was a place ...Where mortals embraced thunder and majesty. Their fate lay in our hands. Feel my wings slowly fading - forever lost in time - I cry"

I acctually just downloaded it last night. All 17min worth. Ya gotta admit the drum solo is pretty good. Back in high school (band camp story :P) I wrote our drum line cadence that year based off that drum solo. It rocked and everyone always wanted us to play it. My hands would soo be cramped after 20min of it.

Used to in High school. Played snare, bass and dabbled on quads some. I can do a lil on a trap set, but I stink.

I did play saxaphone from like 5th grade till I graduated and even a few years afterwards. Alto, tenor and baritone. Played sax mainly in jazz band, concert and symphonic (1st chair in each, stuck with alto mainly, only tenor and bari for certain parts in some stuff).

After high school, i picked up and played bass with some friends in a few different bands for about 3 years. Havent played anything in about 3 years though. Been wanting to learn guitar.

My sax has moss growing in it- unless Santa brings me steely dan sheet music...

My kid plays the tenor sax like Lisa Simpson. I envy her.

Speaking of Saxomaphones...........

My kid had her Saxamaphone debut last night......I am SO jealous of her... She is one of two tenor saxes. She and the tenor in the other class had a solo on Jingle Bells. I had to beg borrow and steal to get her a seat on it, I didn't want to waste money on a trumpet or clarinet. Shes quite good.Best I can do is Careless whisper by wham-she can do it all. Her band teacher told her it would sound better when it got broken in and was not so shiny anymore. And horrors to think I hunted it down special because it was not used. Its name is big Bertha.

So:
to keep it on topic: Best songs to drive to with sax solos in them:

1) FM- Steely Dan
2) Deacon Blues- Steely Dan
3) Smooth Operator- Sade
4) True- Spandau Ballet
5) Arthurs Theme
6) Careless Whisper- Wham
7) Anything by DMB Expecially Crush...
