I live in the woods so I get a lot of mice inside. The traps work fine for me. I do miss one here and there, but overall no problems. They just need to be set properly. The trick i've learned is it get the hold down bar into paddle where the food goes just right on the edge of springing. If it goes in too deep, the food can be stolen without the trap going off.

Mouse traps don't make me sneeze!
They steal food from the trap once in a while. I forget about a hidden trap once in a while and I've found mice in it that were eaten by other mice!
I caught 30 of them in about a months time this past spring. Haven't seen any sign of any all summer so far. But I did catch a red squirrel that was coming in and out. It got in by a hole near the roof and came down through the wall into the basement.

Same here. I'll have a couple usually in the spring and in the fall. I set mine the same way, get it right on the edge, hair trigger. And I use peanut butter on mine, they can't resist that ****. And it doesn't dry out as quick as a piece of cheese, plus its sticky so they'll keep trying to dig more of it out of the little hole until WHACK!!!
