...under the influence of my wife that is!

few months ago i got like 3 speeding tickets in a years time so my lisence got suspendend for 3 months..

Well, i have had my wife driving me around and last night she picked me up from work and She wasn't feeling well and asked if i could drive home.

I was like sure. So I'm almost home and I see a cop turn in bhind me from another street. 1 min later he pulls us over...i'm like crap what did i do...

Turns out my license plate sticker ran out end of October and he nailed me for drving on a suspendend license too.

It was stupid on my part to have risked driving. Hes like bond is 100 bucks so i give him $100 and hes like ok i put on here that you paid 10% of the fine.. $1000 fine! ouch..so i have to go to court in December.

So thats my story... Word to the younger guys on the board...you always get caught for doing dumb things even though i know how to drive perfectly, if the law says don't then don't...

I'm going to guess your wife didn't know you were on suspension before you got pulled over?

thought so. too bad it didnt turn out ok. my cousin was driving a van this summer for his work, speeding, no registration in the van, and he didnt have his licesne. the cop said the ticket was 600 bucks and asked him how much he was making that summer. cop was nice and just gave him the speeding ticket w/o any loss of points. nice guy

That hurts. Bad break. Don't get cute in court. Try to be as humble as you can.

That is definitley a "raw" deal. And to get pulled over for something so simple like that.....gheesh.

Sorry to hear that Chris.
Hope you don't have to go before a real "hardcase" judge.
