In the wake of today's events at the Boston Marathon I would like to send my thoughts, prayers and condolences to all of my fellow Bostonians and anyone else who has been affected.

My friend was there. I have to ask him tomorrow what he saw. Luckily he's okay.
Pulling ball bearings out of people? Imagine if the bomb underneath the stands had actually gone off? Luckily it didn't.

My friend, who I referenced above, was sitting in the bleachers across from the first bomb. He said his parents and him were stunned at first, not really knowing what was going on or what to do. Then the second one went off and they knew they had to get off the bleachers so that's when they all ran. Thank god the bomb underneath the bleachers didn't detonate or this might be a different story from me and many others.

I'm really wondering what the motive for doing this is? I would think that if its an international terrorist action they would have spoken up by now?
I suspect it might be a domestic affair though for whatever reason the current climate in the country might provide.

Hmmm... I don't think that would end well, grinding people into hamburger while keeping them alive isn't what the good guys are supposed to do.
