Thinking about moving?
Heh. South Park's 100th episode said it best:
"Hey, this is 'Merica! If you don't like it you can GET OUT!!!"
Maybe the Baldwins will follow through this time...

"I keed, I keed!" - Triumph.

I can just imagine how thrilled our Canadian neighbors will be when they have to
raise food imports just to feed Michael Moore.

And... yeah... sure... they'll roll the red carpet for Howard Dean!
... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! !!!!!!!

If all goes well, I'll be teaching English as a second language in Poland next year. This has nothing to do with the election--I voted for Bush--but just my desire for another adventure. I won't find out until June or July if I will get the job.
They seem happy to have all the democrats perousing their site in hopes to move to the "great white north" or whatever. But at this point they dont have to lock their doors, they have a bunch of us Americans up there, thatll change quik.
Im sure no Canadian wants to wake up to a passed out Matt on their couch after just wonderring in, in the middle of the night...

More potential ex-pats... Exiles from Main StreetIn defense of the BBC, here is the main difference between them and, say, Fox News or CNN
BBC Governors differ from directors of public companies, whose primary responsibilities are to shareholders and not consumers. BBC Governors represent the public interest, notably the interests of viewers and listeners.
The Governors safeguard the BBC's independence, set its objectives and monitor its performance. They are accountable to BBC licence payers and Parliament, and publish an Annual Report assessing its performance against objectives.

Reaching out? (Part Deuce)
Yes we should.
So I am a basketball game when the PA asks the crowd to rise for the National Anthem. A young man behind me tells his gf... "FXXX AMERICA, I AM NOT GETTING UP!" I suddenly felt a burning sensation behind my eyes. I just slowly turned around, looked, and stared at his face, long enough to memorize it. Hopefully, I won't forget it.
Perhaps one day fate will shower me a gift and I'll be able to reach out and touch him.

Man.
Of course, would he be moving out of the godforsaken USofA anytime soon? No. And why? 'Cause where would he go that he has such freedom to be denouncing the very place that lets him say such things? Not many places, yo.
Why didn't everyone in earshot of that guy pummel him? Or ask to have him removed so you all didn't have to sit next to the guy... What happened to him during the game? And what did he do whilst you stared and stared?
/me is somewhat curious.
//me would have. Have him removed, of course, not pummel... Or *would* I?... Pummel him, that is... Gah. Fergetit.

In the same Vein, I say that Britain is going down the pan.......The government stinks, immigration is out of control and the social benefits system is an unmittigated disaster.
But I am still very patriotic, hence the avatar!
