There are tattoo shops here who will do anyone. Scary dark dirty places.
The one we use has sterilized autoclaved unopened instruments, they open in front of you, will not do if you have alcohol on your breath, are drunk or appear high.
They also will not do tattoos in visible spots.

I am thinking of getting a fairy sitting on a buttercup on my upper shoulder.
Or a pony tribar on my upper thigh.

I love my daisies, and since I spend a spectacular amount of time with flowers both inside and out of my house, I won't be tired of them.

B.s Nekkid Viking has faded- its all black, but now it needs recolored, it looks like a naked man with his package hanging.

The eagle was for the Navy. Its still spectacular looking.

Jason, I don't know of any place in Ohio, but...

If you stop over by Chi-town, the best place to go is here. A few of my friends have been there, and that's where I plan to get mine done (as soon as I get the design I want finalized ) Very cool guys with a great shop.

Ronin Tattoo

(btw, they'll only do 18+, as well)

I forget the exact address, but its on the site

You need to set up an appointment, too...they get a general idea of what you want and then book a time to get it done in.

Get what you feel. Something that always has, and always will represent you. The thing with getting ink is that it should be unique. I have 7. Everything from a lion, to a bunch of tribal to a custom drawing of a bull that I did. My biggest piece of advice is to go to someone you know. Not a friend with a homemade gun, but a professional that you become pretty cool with. STart going into reputable shops to B.S. a bit. Once you establish a relationship, not only will he/she give you a better deal, but you will feel more comfortable and he/she will be more precise and be more into giving you what you want. As opposed to their interpretation of what you want. And don't get pressured. As far as getting cliche phrases (i.e. "only god can judge me", "trust no man") make sure it is something you live by and for, or you WILL regret it.

Hi ya'll. I posted this awhile back. My hair has grown back and the tat. is not shiny anymore....very pleased! It is custom drawn by yours truly, and is an astrological design. Basically, the black portion is an ancient symbol of Aquarius, while the center Blue with black waves symbloizes the waves of knowledge that occurred later through the age of Aquarius. I got it for my birthday, it is my second tat., and my decision to get another one was to give me a reminder of an important time in my life. Now, everytime I look at it, it gives me a reason to excel in life! I like that it is unique, recognizable by fellow Aquarians, and also looks "cool", for lack of a better word. And ,YES, they do get addicting...even for 30-something, suburban dads, with good jobs and huge mortgages

I moved out of suburbia, I just didnt fit in with the other moms my age... the tats were just the beginning! LOL I think rolling home at 7am on a saturday morning, and the fact that I wouldnt dress up to get the mail were the other factors...
