Holy crap...
I finally got my chance to see them....touring the new CD.
8 friggin years later, and the CD rocks!
And of course...so do they.
Finally seeing Mike Ness...and whats his nuts from Rancid is covering bass on the tour.

Any Social D fans ?

When I pick up the 05, I'll be blaring some 'Somewhere between Heaven and heck' or the new CD 'Sex, Love and RocknRoll'

Hahah,
Yeah, they are still around.
After Dennis passed away, Mike kinda went away.
He toured as himself, but then he brought back Social D, and a new CD.
Honestly, if you love their oldstuff, check out the new CD
'Sex, Love and Rock N Roll' its a good ole rock cd.
Can't stop listening to it.

Huge Social D fan here! I've got all their CD's from Mommy's Little Monster to the new one, "Sex, Love, and Rock'n'Roll." I love the new CD a lot. The first song, "Reach for the Sky" is my fave so far. I actually got to see them a few years ago when I was like 16-17 in Anaheim and they just totally rock! stinks that Dennis died of cancer. Hope to see them again when their in town playing!

BTW...Boomer, nice avatar.! I got a poster of it in my room. Didn't know you would be a SD/punk rock fan and a Mustang fan too! Too bad Mike Ness drives a 57 Chevy not a Stang, but its still a great car though.

ohhhhh yeah. 79 - Now

Its funny I'm a punk fan, and people are surprised.
Cause when you see me, I definately don't look the type.

Definately one of my favorite bands.
Among Goldfinger, The Living End.

I'm more into hardcore and screamo bands now (like Eighteen Visions, AFI, Thrice, My Chemical Romance, and Shadows Fall) but once in a while some good ol' Bad Religion and Social D or some Rancid or Face to Face still pumps me up, especially before going to shows! I don't really look the type either, except for when I go hang out with my bros or go to shows I dress all black, wear studded belts/chains, put on my converse's and spike my hair.

Suicide Machines are kewl. Saw them a few years ago at Warped Tour.

Amy.....How could you have fallen asleep at a Bad Religion show??? Last time I saw them at Warped Tour this past July, I was in the pit sweatin my butt off! My girlfriend got to take pix with Greg Graffin (lead singer) and got to crowd surf. I also got sandwiched between two fat guys in the pit, but I don't really want to get into that, except that I had to crawl my way out of it. Gives me the shivers just thinkin about it.

I dunno how I ended up falling asleep haha It was back in 93 or something... the opening acts were Green Day and Seaweed. Man... such great music in the mid 90's.

Ewwwwwwww.. sweaty stinky big guys in the pit... NOT GOOD hahaha

I feel all old going to shows now. Frickin kids haha I just don't want them running into me and making me drop my $5.00 beer haha

Used to hang out with the guys from the Suicide Machines, back when they were called Jack Kevorkian and the Suicide Machines.

I see older punk rockers (no offense!) at shows all the time. Like last month I saw Face to Face play their last show (yeah, so sad they're breakin up!) in San Diego and there was this huge punker guy who brought his kids to the show. Both his kids had mohawks and his little 5 year old was on his shoulders the entire time while the dad was in the pit totally getting crazy (funniest thing I ever saw!).

BTW...I forgot the Suicide Machines were from Michigan. COOOOL! ya got to hang out with em!
