I'm sitting here fighting sleep. The mall below my office is crowded as can be and i'm not leaving my desk, not even for food.

 

I worked Christmas Eve Day from 11-6, Christmas Night 6-2 and I work tonight 6-2. Tell me that doesn't suck.

 

I'm here but being in Commercial Sales, most of my business customers are off today so i feel like the Maytag Repairman.

 

Not Me! I don't have to go back to work until Wed's, work for for three days, then off for another 3. :dance: Thinkin about going out and buying my Christmas present to me....a satellite radio set-up...I'm thinkin Sirrius.

 

Not me, but being retired and a stay-at-home Dad, I never really have a day off.
However, I would nver trade away the time I get with my sons.

I think I am about to go crash on one of the couches in the lounge area for my lunch break. Out of 45people, 6 people are in the office today. 5 are in my dept

 

In Canada December 26th is a holiday, no one works, but the malls are open. Today is called "Boxing Day" in Canada, and is when people return the gifts they didn't want and buy tons of stuff on sale.

 

For the first time in 3 years I had today off as well as Christmas day. The last 3 years I have worked Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. That is alright as it is the nature of the job. At least this year I didn't celebrate Christmas in the desert.

 

I'm off until 3 Jan

 

I've been off since last Thursday and don't back until January 3rd. Part of that is holiday time (3 days) and the rest is vacation time.

I'm at work which is ridiculous. We had a few customers this morning but no one serious.

Most of the other dealerships in the area are closed...

 

I did.
And hated every second of it.
Everyone else was out shopping.

Five O clock hit though....And out the door I went.

 

I worked, but it was pretty slow. I work service at a Pontiac GMC Truck dealership.
At least school is off this week for me.

 

I worked 12-8 Christmas Eve, 6-6 on Christmas, and 2-10 today. It's OK. I didn't have plans and every buck I made goes to my trip fund for next summer.

 

I have to go back today for 3 days then another long weekend, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday, then......no more holidays till July 4th.

 

I used comp time to take last Thursday and Friday off, and I get this whole week off for the holidays. It's not really exiciting, though, since I came home and didn't bring many things to keep me occupied, so it's slightly boring.

I dunno if I have to go back on the 2nd or 3rd...I might need to find that out!
