Does anyone use this? www.skype.com seems a good idea if you call intercontinental often? Any insight gratefully accepted!

 

I've heard good things (mainly that it's free and works quite well) but I haven't tried it yet. When I talk to my Mom over in Greece I'll tell her to download it and try it as well.

 

well, I got it today and gave Doug (Bman) a cal and it worked great! Thoroughly good idea!!

 

my cousin is at Kadeno AFB in Japan now, and I will download it soon to use. Most of my family have already done so, and they have had no complaints. They say its crystal clear.... and free, so can't beat that.

My computer at home is infected, so its slloooooooooow. It is set to get fixed next week, so after we get it back I will try it out for myself.

 

Skype is an amazing thing.

Don't have to use it internationally. How about when you're playing City Of Heroes or WoW or Everquest or whatever and you need to communicate? It's bombtastic for that.

OR, if you just don't want to use up long distance anywhere. You can leave it on, and if someone calls you, there you go. Hawaii, Australia, or even in your hometown so you don't use up Cell phone minutes.

I could gush and gush. But that's enough I think.
