I was talking to a police detective today and the convicts' topic came up in the conversation. The conversation extended to the origins of a lot of trends we see in 'hoods and the streets which have been created by those big bad boys behind bars.

He spoke about some the latest fashions, such as tatoos and dressing habits which happen to have meanings. A spider tatoo in the elbow can mean the years spent in jail or a tear tatoo can mean a death. As for the dressing trends, one of the examples that stood out was the wearing of white underwears showing while the pants are half way down the crack of the butt. Get ready for this one!

Its meaning? Whoever has that fashionable attire means he IS "spoken for"

But it doesn't end there! All those dummies out on the streets who have never spent a day in jail but are dressing the same as those who get 3 free meals a day and all the sex others want, are unknowingly advetising they ARE "spoken for".

I was fine until I was told about the underwears showing. Then my friend hit me with the punch line and I had Dr. Pepper coming out of my nose, I almost choked.

 

That is hilarious! The next time I have to chase one of those knuckleheads I'm probably gonna start laughing and he'll get away.
