How does everyone feel about all the new Rock Bio movies?
Ray opened the gauntlent on these movies.
There's one on Keith Moon (the late Who drummer) coming up
Iggy Pop (known as the father of punk). Frodo is playing him! :bang:
Bob Dylan (7 seven actors/actresses are playing "him") :bang:
Johnny Cash (this one actually looks good!)

funny story: I did a report and a 15 minute presentation on Keith Moon in high school, and a part of the assignment had us write a letter to a fake movie studio and pitch a movie idea about our bio victim. I had casted Mike Myers to play Keith Moon :P And he's supposed to play him in the real bio pic

I dont see this as good casting:

Why do they need someone else to play Bob Dylan, he could pass as a 20 year old. Seriously though, the guy is a legend i don't think Frodo Baggins is the right guy to play him, i'd go with an unknown. And that Johnny Cash movie looks aweosme, cant wait to see it, 2 weeks.

PS, i saw Bob Dylan in concert a couple months ago. His live show aint the greatest (read: awful) so the only reason to go would be to see a living legend while you still got the chance. Or to cross him off the list of rockers you need to see live: Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Robert Plant, Bobby D so far.

 

I'd like to see the Cash flick.

There's a Motley Crue movie in the works too. (as lame as some may think) I can't wait to see it though, I'm a huge Crue fan and they did lead quite an interesting career/life, so i'm sure it'll be good entertainment. hehe
