I was off to go to the mall( I know) and got a call. I just wrecked! Come get me........about 40 miles from here.

Whole drivers front bent in, headlight gone, door bent.....

Crap! Its totaled.

As long as everyone's ok, then that's the best. Sorry to hear of the deceased Bronco, but it's replaceable. You and yours (oh, all right, and them others too...) are not.

I was going Christmas Shopping. He was about 40 miles out in Trussville, and was making a right turn- when he hit the brakes- NOTHING. It pegged all the way and hit another truck. I was just heading out when he called- and went to get him. Hes like- I think it can make it home- the whole drivers side is tin canned in. Its in the Kmart parking lot in Trussville- make me an offer.
So we get to thinking......Gawd this is bad- because Eleanor depended on the Bronco staying fine until December 05- remember no truck to work in means no money for Eleanor to get paid for with........

So We got a wild hare up our butts and took off to Pearl River last night.
I came out even,lost most of it and made it back with my last $10 on the craps table- he lost his butt. We brought some friends with us- they live about 20 miles off. We pull into the parking lot of their apt complex- MY STUPID RADIATOR HOSE BURST! Thats fixed. We had a road trip, had some fun, stayed in a spectacular hotel..........Its all good.

BTW I love craps- it was like 2 this morning and I won all my money back!!!! AND I got to throw the dice for everyone else.

We are going back for my bday.

Hubby uses the alero until we figure something out. I don't need to shop anyway.

 

Why not find a used two door Explorer? Shouldn't run you much and I'm sure you can find one with four wheel drive! Try searching at http://www.autotrader.com

When that stupid hose burst--------Hes like Oh CRAP- Me not noticing- WHAT? The STEAM pouring out of your hood-------OH ! That is strike 3 on the car.

Funny when I picked him up I stopped- EWW I smell coolant- my stupid car. I hate it.

 

Today is the day I throw myself under the train to take my Eleanor fund which is at full capacity............And throw myself on the car dealer until I can drive Electra(not Eleanor) home.

I was told if I had 3k I could drive one home- and I shall see what happens even if only half the stuff I am disputing has been removed from my credit reports.

I will then have to replenish my Eleanor fund. Maybe I will wind up with a DHG 06.........

 

It was paid for, so we carry liability only on it.......I don't know how that works since the olds is over insured( 0 deductibles, towing, rental etc) and I just call and they replace on that one.

This totally blows, and puts our whole master plan into a tailspin.
