Great Interview/video! (However, it is sad.)

 

I'm about a quarter way through and amazed...
They say never meet your heros and Richard is obviously shocked so far.... will comment further after i watch the rest

 

Ok just finished it and everything Richard said and was feeling I felt as well. I think he saw a side of evel he had no clue of.
Was a great show though. I do love Richards interview style and the way he narrates this stuff.

I agree about the almost uneasy feeling Richard conveyed and feeling the same way.

 

What that video alittle while back and was definitely as shocked as Hamster was. Though I expected some of it, you never know what 'lurks' behind the public mask... so to speak.

Overall Hammond does a great job with a difficult piece.

 

OH one thing I will add that Stunt girl pic that richrad had..ROWR!!!!

That's an extraordinary interview - and not at all what you expect it to be. Hammond handles himself really well given the circumstances.

Was this part of a Top Gear special...or a stand alone piece that Hammond did like Clarkson sometimes does?

 

I think it was a stand alone piece.

 

All three Top Gear guys have various solo projects, I believe this was one of Hammond's.

 

Those three truly do have the best job in the world.

Props to the BBC, too. They definitely do a type of programming that we rarely see with North American broadcasters.
