Saturday matinees, good movie ones, .50 cents!

Remember flying kites?

balloons in the spokes of your bike?

how about "fizzies"? You dropped them in a glass of water and they kinda boiled in it

CO2 powered race cars?

I remember you could smoke in the court room at a trial. I remember ashtrays in Church, and buying cigarettes from a store at 11 years old. People could smoke in all the stores. We had smoking areas in our high school. I remember minimum wage was $1.50 but my first job I had for 6 months only paid .60 cents an hour. I remember driving 8 miles to ask my uncle what the point gap setting was on my VW because it was a long distance phone call. It was hard to find things out before the internet came. I remember in 1969 driving my Dad's 1967 two door Galaxie with a 428 4 speed to get my drivers license. I remember gas was 29.9 a gallon but have seen it down to 19.9 if there was a gas station war going on I'm old

I wish I grew up in the era that most of you guys did. I hate where we're at now. It's absolutely disgusting and discouraging as a parent of two young boys. I feel so guilty bringing them into this world.

Yeah but are you so preoccupied with whether or not you could that you didn't stop to think if you should?

Back when I was in high school in the early 1980's, me and two friends decided we were going to take over the world on August 21, 2017. Ironically, that is the date of a solar eclipse in North America. Perhaps we need to dust that plan off and include you in it.

You can take away about anything I have but never ever take away my junk! It's like my best friend.

I don't want to say you're a lonely guy, but I hear you carry a picture of your hand in your wallet!
