Soooooooo...I still have the alero....
On Friday, the lower radiator hose burst when we were picking up our friends for the casino trip..........Ok whatever. Hate you lots! Fixed it. Bought a new one to replace it.
Today, B. is off to work. Keep in mind, he will not go near Eleanor. Called me- well..........I am going to try to get the car home.......Leak in the resivoir.
That Orange stuff ATE my Coolant tank, it has already eaten the hoses and tank cap and intake and water pump........
I told him he had bad car mojo- the bronco died, the truck before it died, the neon got totalled, the second neon BROKE, now he inherits my alero.........Yoohoo.....
He said- NOW do you know why I don't wanna get near the Mustang?
GOD I HATE GENERAL MOTORS! I will from this point on drive FORD only.

You don't have to tell my checkbook that.....I am sitting over a grand into fixing what it ate. its like acid.
The leak was a line at the coolant level- where it ate through. New tank $45!
I only wish GM would own up to it. Admit their mistake and issue a recall or refund for repairs.
I bought the new prestone stuff to put in.

You all know I still have the Alero plague right? 
I hate that car!
It so happens my husband loves me......He got me Eleanor and he is driving said Alero now...I will happily share Eleanor with him, but he says its my car and he doesn't wanna drive it.
He went to Atlanta to discuss some crap or other about Marta over there........The hose blew again. Took the radiator cap with it,he had a spare hose and replaced it. He was passing through a very very bad part of town on the interstate and the cap blew again.....Pegs red. He stays alive long enough to make it to advance auto and gets the cap replaced.... Gets back on the road, now with watery bowels.
On the bright side, he now knows I wasn't full of crap. On the bad side---- 4 bottles of antifreeze, 4 gallons of water.....and the blasted thing made it home fine after he replaced the cap again.
Have I told anyone lately I hate GM?
So now I have to go see my salesman friend where I got Eleanor........And see about getting rid of the GM disease this morning.

I had two 1995s.....I adored my white one. It was the most fun I ever had driving before the mustang.
I turned an Eleantra into a tin can, bought a neon, got it turned into a tin can, replaced it with another neon which I replaced with the Alero.....
Which I still have- don't tempt fate.....bought Eleanor flatout.
