just spent 45 minutes filing my free tax return online cause i did not work a lick last year and they told me i wont get a penny back ..i only earned unemployment for 6 months ,, i had been told that i would get back all the federal taxes i paid on that .. do i need to waste 150 bucks on my usual tax filer person who may very well tell me i will get back zero $ .. i got $ 6890 in unemployment payments and $702 federal was deducted .. but i had no insurance coverage at any time during 2017 .. is that the rub ?

Trump did away with the Obama fine for no health insurance so you shouldn't have any problem with that part.

Today's life hack:
unplug the extension cord from your block heater BEFORE driving to KFC to grab supper.
If not, your dad will complain that you are trying to give him a heart attack from the racket of the extension cord being ripped off the wall of the house
(plus seeing you drive away with the cord dragging down the street doesn't help!)

We used to have our own gas tank at home. My mom drove off with the gas hose still attached to her car.

I watched the live stream of the launch. Really cool! I've seen a lot of people complain about the car being wasted money, but they don't understand that this was a test flight without a paying customer. It had to have a dummy payload so Elon Musk picked something that he found funny.

That's exactly what I thought, like an old movie about invading martians or something. When you think about how tricky it must be to keep those rockets perfectly balanced for the landing, it's just amazing.

in an idiot move destined to doom pro stock ( aka chevy stock ) drag racing the powers to be at NHRA have decided this year that a team can run any " body " they wish to run with any engine they wish .. hence a dodge can and most likely will run a chevy motor .. a mustang will most likely run a chevy motor ..totally lost me before the season even started ...

We use armed guards for congress and anything else society deems valuable, but we don't have security at our schools. "Gun Free Zone" (target rich environment) signs don't work.

Ok when I went to school we had our shotguns in our trunks because a few of us would go out hunting right after school. And you know what we didn't even think for a nanosecond about going out to our cars to retrieve them and shoot up the school. And why because we simply KNEW BETTER!!!
