Racedeck/Weathertech garage floor tiles

In the process of trying to make a silk purse from a sow's ear in my garage. I'm interested in Racedeck style vinyl squares, but even with my small 21 X 11 floor space Racedeck can get expensive. I noticed that Weathertech has a very similar system at less of a cost.

Anyone use either of these two products? If so, any pics of your garage?

There is a ton of information over at http://www.garagejournal.com. The race deck company is a sponsor and they will send you some samples. Really good stuff. There is a lot of pictures of garage with tall there tiles.

Just got My lift getting ready to do the same thing.

If you are looking to save a buck or two try painting/sealing/epoxy stuff. make up your own pattern and be able to clean up oil spills easily.

I used the rustoleum stuff from menards.

My floor is a mess...badly stained, cracks, etc....d@mn ugly. I've been told that it would first need to be acid etched (my words), and the acid and epoxy are pretty noxious from what I understand. I've also been told that it takes several days to cure. I don't/won't leave my Mustang outside overnight.

If I move, I could simply disassemble the vinyl tiles and take the floor with me. I have a small garage, so a tiled floor won't break the bank....and it would hide all the ugly, especially the cracks.

Btw, keep this pic in mind.....the garage is in the middle of a makeover now.
