I've suffer the blue-disc problem myself, I believe the cause has something to do with the laser head in the DVD drive. It's a direct result of Sony being Sony and deciding to use el cheapo drives in the PS2. Apparently it's not much of an issue (if at all) for the slim form-factor PStwo

well i jinxed it. as of today, it for the first time in ever, decidedc to freeze up on me during a loading screen

not only that it did it multiple times!!

and not only THAT but one time the whole damned screen turned green!!! how did that happen!?

im starting to think theres something wrong with my entire entertainment system. the PS2 wsa my DVD player until today, and i wanted to watcha movie, so i used this mini DVD player we had that was unhooked rite now and i plugged it into my TV and it would play the sound great, but the picture would sometimes be there, but then turn blue.... this is just a normal DVD player and my TV mind you... and my VCR eats tapes... kind of like my car's cassete player, whose AM/FM radio doesnt work either

my computer slows down immensely and has a tendency to overheat as well...

the ONLY high tech entertainment thingies i own that work are my Creative Zen Extra MP3 player, my camera (which matters lil to none since it takes soooo darn long to put photos onto the slow computer) and my Gamecube which doesnt matter too much since the TV is schitzo...

time for so low-tech fun... im going to go shoot cans with my airsofts... i knew i had a good reason for buying those lol
