They are good for light snow and small areas like a sidewalk. They do shoot snow a good distance though so they are nice of you are in a snow fight with someone! LOL! They are electric so you have to drag an extension cord with you. If you have heavy snow and a large area to do I would not recomend it.

Yup, sidewalks or very small driveways would be OK for this. If you've got an average sized 2 car driveway, this would be more of a hassle than it's worth when dealing w/ any snow worth clearing.

I have a two car driveway... probably 35 feet long. Shoveling sucks... and snow blowers are expensive. I'm looking for any advantage at a low cost.
