What I don't get is- its not like a Wii is expensive. She died by being a Dumas'
BUT the radio station employees and the Radio station are getting in trouble because people CHOSE to do idiot things.

There's a difference between ignorance and stupidness...
One side was ignorant, the other was reckless and stupid

True, BUT no one was forced.

The radio station was reckless when they didn't count desperation in as a factor. The other was STUPID for doing it in the first place.

Its like O&A Getting fired for the Dumas'es who did "it" @ Saint Patricks- Yea they suggested it, but the couple who did it were the ones who did it.

Tempted by the fruit of another, I guess sometimes we should not be surprised by what some will do to get something for free. Such things can really lead to blindness.

A few years ago there was an Airman at Lackland who died during basic training. Cause of death was water intoxication.

This is a horrible, horrible thing. The DJs knew it was possible, yet they still went on with it. Of course, do you ever expect something like this to happen? Never.

And is water intoxication really all that heard of? Who'd think you could die from water, like this? I had never even heard of it. Still, a terrible thing.

this happened 2 years ago in chico, 2 hrs north of where this lady died. it was all over national news for weeks.

people called in to remind them that it happened. they all should of known the effects of drinking too much water.

there is no excuse for anyone involved in the contest.
