The only thing that has'nt went up substantially is my ing wages! Now after the first of the year they have increased our health insurance premiums and told us not to expect a cost of living increase this year. The cost of just "living" is getting crazy. I bet I was making more money 10 years ago making less money than I am now making more money, with the dramatic increases in EVERYTHING.

You are preaching to the choir.
I have a 20 hour a week job that I am actually doing 40+ hours a week- Do I get more money?

And the hubby has it worse- he works all day every day. raise.

I get screwed for $550 a month on half health insurance that doesn't cover JACK CRAP! Everything is "optional" or elective.
I freaking cut my leg to the bone all the way across- fixing that was "elective surgery" Think they paid a cent?
And it chaps my to know all you have to do to get good medical coverage is be on welfare, be a slack or be in jail.

I think people get screwed for working their butts off.

PS- I have to pay the freckin gas bill- because I have a job. I figure if I have to pay it, everyone else does too or give me a break on it- one for all, all for one.

I used the handy "tips to reduce your gas bill right?

I turned down my water heater- now my showers are just unpleasant.
I sealed all the windows and reversed the fans and closed every vent but the living and bedrooms.
I turned down the thermostat from 72 to 70.

MY TOTAL SAVINGS?????? FOUR FRIGGIN DOLLARS- yes you heard me, I froze in my house looking like a fat chick at walmart in sweats and socks for four freakin dollars. Ain't that a kick in the pants?

Mood? I am freezing my off. That is ALWAYS conductive to a pissy mood. I don't expect to recover my good spirits until at least March 20.

The strange thing is= Upstairs in the office its nice and toasty. BUT thats not where the nice couches and big tv live Plus I can't smoke up there, not that I should be smoking at all or even in the house.

In this picture, its snowing- and to boot you can not see it.

The snow is just frickin with me. Its snowing, but just snowing and not sticking.

Yea, I am in the grandmama of pissy moods today. Today was Gas bill day.

My neighborhood? Meh.......Eleanor isn't the first or only 05 pony living here. Plus its still under construction, it won't be really cool for another year or so. I knew it was being built when I moved here so I am not complaining.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy. A slight chance of flurries.. Lows around
24. Northwest winds up to 5 mph in the evening then
becoming light.

Welp...snowing here again with a temp holdin at about 19 degrees. Just checked out weatherbug and their saying into the 40's by the middle of the week then get colder them heck by the weekend....kinda makes a person wonder what summer has in store for us. I'm in a better mood today....yesterday was a different story though One thing that set me off right away was Wal-mart yesterday, I bought 80,000 mile tires from them that have a little of 40,000 miles on them now...I believe I have a broken belt on the drivers rear of my beater, well I've been in there twice to have it checked out and each time it been atleast a 2hr wait...wtf. I actually got a heck of deal on the tires, they where out of the cheap ones I originally wanted so they gave me the better ones for cheap price...cool...but that 1 hour install turned into 3....geesh.Sometimes I think your better off buying from your smaller dealers, you may pay a little extra but the service is better and probally quicker. They seem to want to take care of you. Oh well.

http://www.wbrc.com/weather/7day.html

Things are looking up!!
I can't wait for March. Warm weather again....... And May- the pool opens.

As for "other aggravations"

I bought one of those houses on wheels once- to roost in till I got my dream house constructed. Well, I moved back to the civilized part of Bama, And it so happened my mothers sister needed somewhere to stay- and I built THIS dream house instead. She was supposed to make the payments on that embarrassing alabama special, but she started paying less and less- and didn't pay crap this month. OOOH I don't have any money. She wanted to "lease to own"
This is the ignorant witch who has an 00 mustang - in "paradise red" one of only five made which is much faster and wayyyyy prettier than Eleanor(eww that mustang of yours is ugly). So now I am facing evicting her. And I totally will too, and throw her carthouse over a cliff.
On the bright side, I guess I never have to attend one of those annoying family get togethers again. No one is speaking to me- because I am expected to make my (oppressive) mortgage and pay for hers too. No good deed goes unpunished. I didn't sell the befricked thing because she "bought" it.

In other gripes- seen the HR block commercials? Double your refund up to 10k? HTF do you get a 10k tax refund? Or a refund at all for that matter.

Money and family never mix. They probably think you're loaded(with money, not drink!) because of the new house and nice car, and you don't need the money.

Ahh pee on them.Thats precisely WHY I am broke- the house. The mustang is paid for as a perk of my job.

And I am thinking of selling this house too.To find one with nice electric heat and AC.

I will never see my money out of my mothers sister and I am over it, not that I am not going to make her life hades first.

My coveted house will be fenced in and have a huge garden in place.

Currently this is a weather and aggravation thread. I have an aggravation-92 Cherokee's insurance went down,97 F150's went down, 65 Mustang's went down, but my GT's went UP! No tickets(yet),nothing! They said car was rated a "19" when we bought it and now it's a "22 or 24" I can't remember. They said Stangs are not doing well in crashes and cost a lot to repair. RATS! My 05 now costs $662.00 every 6 months, up from $557.00.Hate to see what a ticket would add. Oh well, could be worse I guess!

The GT has a $200.00 deductible, thinking of raising it to $500.00 but need to check on actual difference it would make.

I raised my deductibles from 100 bucks to $1000. Saved me almost a thousand a year. Insurance companies want to get away from low deductibles according to my agent.
