WTF.... I am so ready for spring and it's frickin snowing out, yesterday was great....a little cool, but the sun was out, it was awesome. Now today there is a winter weather advisory which includes ice,snow,sleet etc. I even went out yesterday and bought an oil change for my pony. Im really gettin the itch to pull her out of storage, she's been sleeping since Oct, but now its snowing...and only 28 degrees. Ok, I'm done whining....everyone have a great day and if its warm where your at, send some my way. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/04.gif[/img]

Well, here goes... I'm sending you some nice,sunny,warm, almost perfect weather.Did it work? I'll think of you when we're out working on the boat. We're getting ready to sell her. Never thought I'd see the day. Hope you get the Stang out soon. My sister and I had a nice day yesterday running errands and such in the Pony. Have a nice day all.

 

I think Spring sprung while I was out Friday.

I replaced my houseplants with new ones. My flowers are coming up outside, and my new ones look great.

And its been WARM! [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banana.gif[/img] Warm is good!

Plus I went to Old Navy to stock up on spring clothes and flip flops in every color.

 

WOW WOW WOW!

We were out yesterday getting bulbs and such. Out of the corner of my eye I spied a backyard pond on clearance for $35. I KNOW! Lets buy that! Can't be too hard to install. Famous last words.

Holy MOTHER! We dug a hole to china, got covered in mud. Stretched it and cursed it for 4 hours. FINALLY got the frigger in, Covered it in, had a pile of mud 4 feet high. Finally got it looking decent around Dark last night. NOW its in, replacing my small fountain I had before.
This one is Koi fish Worthy.

In other news, My neighbor let me in on a landscaping wholesale place- FULL GROWN flowering trees for $50, and they deliver free and install for $40 a tree. We said screw a fence, we are getting trees. I have went a little landscape crazy this week. Put in an azalea bed, and am working on the backyard later today.

Umm Yea, I got ticked off and ripped the pond out. I put the Fountain back in and planted Caladiums and Elephant Ears around it.

Later that day I put in an azalea bed- I was rolling a clod of sod down the hill and a rock fell out of it. Landed on my pinky toe- bled so bad I almost passed out. It cut it pretty good.
Digging in my yard, I have found discarded floor tiles, unused hardwood- you name it. Pretty much when they level it out before sodding, whatever is left over goes underground till someone digs it up.

Its gonna be 72 today!! [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banana.gif[/img]

 

Yesterday I bought two hot pink Hydrangeas and planted Spirea and Yellow Cannas around my mailbox. I put in Elephant ears, and my crabapple tree is in bloom.

I also got my outdoor reading room(covered back deck) ready- with new pillows, New cypress trees and new candles.

My MIL took me to get some beautiful flowers yesterday afternoon for my belated bday too. I was getting them for myself and she picked up the tab.

Today we go lookin for trees for the backyard. Its totally! Coming together now.

 

Holy Snot Y'all!

Today I went to the commercial nursery.
We got an elm, Two Giant Hollys and a Magnolia- they were freaking giving the trees away. I only Paid $75 for the Hollies and they gotta be 8 feet tall. AND they come put them in.

Not to mention the smaller trees I got- 3 hollies, a vine, an azalea TREE and 2 Hydrangeas.

A nellie Stevens Holly
Emily Brunner Holly
Akebia
Some Sizzler Holly
An Alee Elm Tree
Sweetbay Magnolia
Bridal Wreath Spirea
Flowering Quince

I put the Spirea around my mailbox, I replaced the stupid boxwood with quince. I am putting the Sizzler Hollys on either side of the yard, The elm and magnolia out back, and I used the rest for a border at my backyard.
This is what I want my yard to look like:

I didn't get a regular magnolia. The only thing they are good for is removing the seed pods to use for a weapon.
The vine I got was a chocolate vine- it smells like Chocolate when it blooms. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/04.gif[/img] My covered deck is a true retreat now.

My wedding ring has 3 decent size diamonds surrounded by baquettes. Yesterday I banged my hand against something- And a freaking baquette fell out! NOW It looks like crap! And I am wearing a stupid amethyst until it comes back fixed.
