Friday it flurried here and I froze my butt off. I despise winter(and my lovely $250 gas bill I got today It only went up $200 I should be happy According to the gas company anyhow).

Then it rained...

Then it got pleasant.....

Then it got downright warm...

NOW its going to rain again...

THEN its gonna freaking snow.

WTF?

I've only lived in Texas, and people always say that if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it will change. Is that true everywhere?

Not really, our temperature usually sucks in the winter and is really warm in the summer, but right now its all messed up.

I wanted nice weather for my Bday...But this is nucken futs.

SNOW? If it even thought of snowing here Alabama would be crippled for weeks. We are snow idiots.

My plants are also confused- do we sprout? But we are going to dieeeeeeeeee.

From what I hear this has been a freak winter.

It snowed REAL snow here Christmas 04, it was pretty, but I'm glad it doesn't snow more often-once every 10 years! MESSY! No kidding-you can have the a/c on in the morning because of the humidity, and later in the day a cold front will blow through and you need the heater! All of your plants can be half dead from a drought and then you'll get 10 inches of rain in 5 hours and their roots are drowning! Yesterday we had ice on the truck's windshield(Mustangs have the garage) and today it was warm and humid. I'm worried my citrus trees will bloom and then freeze!(happened a few years ago) Wouldn't want to live anywhere else though. Sorry to ramble.

Its just confirming that women are wishy washy. Mother Nature can't make up her mind.

Yeah weather has been freakish in AL this year. A 30° change in less than 48 hours is pretty drastic IMO.

Sounds similar to what is going to happen here. For the past 4-5 days it has been nice and warm but today its colld and there is one heck of a storm heading for us and then its supposed to snow after a rain/thunderstorm!?

Crazy.

Yes, weird weather all summer.

We had below average cold in December, but also below average precept as well... So no snow.

January has been above average.

We've normally had a few good snow showers by now, but nothing. Not even ice.

Very freaky winter over all, but its been that way everywhere as far as I can tell.

If I am going to have to be cold, I better have a reward. Its cold as a frogs butt outside!!!
Where is March or a good warm front when you need it?

Plus with the "lets screw em cause we can" natural gas prices. Don't even get me on my soapbox about this stupid house and its stupid gas heat( I hate all heat but electric). My gas bill went from $50 in December to $250 in January just cause they could. Its not even like i get to enjoy heat- I keep the thermostat on 70. That really pisses off. :bang:

Yeah we went looking at homes today. We are going all electric due to gas prices.

Oh yeah, its cold as heck outside right now. I hope we dont have a call tonight, unless its a fire, cause then it will be warm.
