We all four have one, and look like a buncha seniors in the rest home drooling over our DS' all day.

 

My daughter has been glued to her DS playing Nintendogs. She also got a cellphone and an MP3 player but she's hardly touched them. I guess I did pretty good getting the DS for her!

 

I'll probably pick up a DS for this.

My Dog is flippin smart. I got A husky. The first one was an idiot- it would'nt listen. I deleted it.


All Four of us morons bought Animal Crossing. We have been playing it relentlessly.

I know, I know, I'm late to the game... almost a year late.
But I hadn't won my DSLite 'til three months ago
My brother has it, so I would be able to walk around with him
Maybe with both of you also if you can dust it off lol

So far I have New Super Mario Bros, Mario Kart DS, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, and Mario Hoops 3-on-3.
I already have Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass paid for (they keep pushing it back!)
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin is reserved (with the free goodies).
I am planning on getting Yoshi's Island DS, Final Fantasy III, and Kirby Squeak Squad for sure.
Children of Mana, Phoenix Wright, Trauma Center, Princess Peach, and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow are all on my really want List, but it can wait.

My money will be gone pretty soon

So back to the question on hand... should I purchase the game?
I hadn't really thought of getting it until recently when something just clicked in my head telling me that it would be pretty awesome to build your own character and neighborhood in a make-believe cartoony world.

 

Absolutely get it- its a blast. I lost six months or so to it. Still play it on occasion!

This is why I am getting the pinata game- its supposed to be like Animal Crossing.

Man, that Zelda game is frustrating me.
It was originally going to be released during Nov or Dec... then it got pushed back to January, and now it is set to be released in March!
I guess Nintendo wants to end the gaming quarter on a high note, or start the next one off on a bang

 

Crap- I had forgotten about Zelda for the DS. My poor DS is in storage right now, I have not touched it since we got the 360.

I did get some exciting news though- Children of Mana for the DS.

I played the hell out of the secret of Mana for most of 1994 and 1995. I loved that game.
