Car Dealers Feel Net Effect

Although i have found in my exprience that when a dealer figures out I know more about the car than they do I get the cold shoulder.

I think with the advent of the net buy a car is closer to buying a stick of gum now than it ever was....houses may be next.

Yep, car buying sure has gotten easier and cheaper.

When I think of all the posts I've read about people who have ordered a 2005 Mustang without knowing the price I just shake my head.

I plan to wait until long after the initial feeding frenzy is over, do my net research, and get competitive quotes from several dealers. Obviously. if I decide to buy another vert, which I probably will, my wait will be longer. It doesn't matter. I'm probably going to hold out for a 2006 anyway. I've only got 64.5K miles on my car now so it's good to go for another day or two.

That's basically how I found mine, over the net. It was easier and I had no aggrivation. Some dealers just don't get it.
