Faber asked me to send out a system wide PM or announcement, which I have no problems with, but I'd like to know for sure what we are going to do with the proceeds first just so no one is mislead.

Does it need to go towards a mod (like a tube from bamachips) or could Nate and family use it in a blanket gift certificate (walmart or pre-paid bank card) more?

 

I know that trying to get him some mods to lift his spirits would be a cool idea from some place like this, but I think a gift certificate would be a very helpful right now for him and his family. I don't have a problem with doing either, because I think he would be greatly appreciative of either. That's just my 2 cents.

I think we've stated that it'll be a gift certificate from all of us to a Mustang related vendor. I think that'd be best as many have already given with that understanding. Maybe someone should contact Nate and let him choose which vendor he would like to do business with. I know Marcello w/ SHR is a sincere supporter of our armed forces, but I think that should be Nate's decision. I'd like to have this wrapped up on Monday, and then give it a week for the mail to clear (some have mailed checks), and then we'll post the tally and I'll arrrange for funds to get to the proper vendor. Let's give Nate some time and not bother him with this right now, the visitation/funeral is this weekend... maybe next week he'll be able to chime in and let us know what vendor he wants to use.
