Sir, THAT is a stout piece! I LOVE it! A friend with a FAL firing 7.62mmx51mm let me shoot a couple of 20-round magazines at the range a couple of years ago. He said the 7.62x51 was at the "low end of 'high-powered'", but it felt plenty high-powered to me - There's no way any car door would stop one of those rounds! Made the .22-cal AR-15s adjacent to us at the range sound like pea-shooters!
If anything, I'd say you need a higher-capacity magazine ASAP. And lots of paper targets and a range membership.

If you're looking for a dedicated .22, the M&P is about the best one out there. It's the only one that I haven't found any real fault with. It's poly, but it's a .22, and it's the truest to a real AR form/function.

last weekend, i had issues with it misfiring 14 rounds out of 40, i used .308 Monarch ammo from academy.. wasnt happy, Academy replaced them, but i got a box of Winchester ammo for this weekend, Everyround fired and cycled in the gun
moral of story.. Cheap Ammo is crap... lol
I am bringing the gun to a gun shop to get bore sighted also cause its so far off i cant bring it in.
