I've had 2 pet ducks for about 4 months or so now and we used to just let them run around our yard since our place is so rural and today one of them wa hit by a car...the other has a broke leg...I've been crying my eyes out...man i loved the little guy too. they always used to come peck me everytime i called them...=[

Sorry to hear about this. We certainly get attached to pets. I know I am more attached to my dog than some of my family members.

 

I feel your pain, I had to put down my mom's dog a couple of weeks ago. He was my mom's friend's dog, mom inherited Beau when her friend died. It was the right thing to do, and had to be done, but I still felt sick to my stomach for three days because of it. My daughter loved Beau because he would let her give him hugs; I think he was just too old to run away when she chased him.

 

I am truley sorry for your Loss You must live here in Victoria BC every where I went today there has been hits of racoonès cats etc every where today . Stephen Kingès fault. Maybe something going on in our atmosphere that has a baring on this.

Thats sad. I have had the unfortunate experience of loosing a close pet. Im sorry for your loss. I hope the one with the broken leg comes thru well.

i lost a dog a few years ago that i loved as a child .. tuff ..

 

Thanks guys. Yea i think the other duck is mourning because he wont eat or anything. and im sorry for your loses as well. I also have 2 dogs which are 7 years old going 8 this christmas so I've had them forever too and love them more than some of my family members.
