Wink

I'm really ashamed that we have had so many people read this with so little response. I do want to thank those of you who have read this and committed to do something.

I started asking myself why ? We've all spent $20-30k on our cars and continue to spend for mods but we can't spare $10-$100 bucks to help this kid. I began to think . . "perhaps they think it's a scam" . . . so I went searching.

Here's what I found in the Washburn County Register • 715-468-2314 • Fax 715-468-4900 • PO Box 455, Shell Lake, WI 54871 . . . .

We are all so fortunate to be able to have the car that brings us to this site day after day to interact with each other for free.

Let's get behind this cause that Brad has presented to us (http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=27242) and show Josh Hill and Brad that we're about more than "speed/performance/handling" . . . and ourselves .

Please commit yourself to this cause, vote and feel free to list the specifics of what you intend to do.

Here's the address info you'll need when you call Mustangs Unlimited . . .

I don't see an option for not going to do anything? Not to be an hiney, but I don't see why this kid is so special. He isn't dieing of cancer or anything. I'm sure theres lots of young kids with mustangs out there. I don't remember anybody sending me money when I was 15/16 and had a mustang

Did you read the original thread of why they are helping him out.....not that the kid really needs this, but its more or less to do something nice for someone else whos real down on his luck lately and bring a little bit of joy and happiness to his life, but to each their own, if you dont want to help you dont have to. I posted this I SoCalStangs Forum and the only comments it got, was who care, its probably a scam, I am not helping, oh well.

Did you not read the kid's story? I'm pretty sure you didn't because you wouldn't have made such a bland comment.

Next time when your going to make a comment about a situation particular to this one, know the situation first before you try and make a foolish comment.

Btw, i'll be sending the kid a gift certificate. Hopefully that will cheer him up alittle.

There is a saying that goes something like.......You never stand so tall as you do when you stoop to help a child. I think this applies here.

I will send a gift certificate. Anything you do for someone else will be returned 10 fold. I think about how this boy must feel today with his dad gone on Fathers Day.

The original address was wrong. The correct address is

Josh Hill
214 3rd Ave
Shell Lake, WI 54871

Please call Mustangs Unlimited if you bought Josh a gift certificate and ask them to change the address.
