For the several states that are affiliated with the mega millions the jackpot will be approaching the 800 million range. Can you imagine if no one wins the jackpot will easily be over a BILLION come next drawing.

First thing I would do is burning everything I own right now and then kill all my enemies.

 

Right. But after tax on the lump sum you're left with only a couple hundred million. So spend $50 or so million up front, invest the rest. Now live modestly off of $4-5 million or more of your interest earned each year and save the rest of your fortune to pass down to your future generations, charity, etc.

 

Oh I just might buy myself a couple strip clubs. For tax purposes of course.

 

The real question is what would you do with $1 million? Office Space fans?
