Meet the Spartans
Can't say I thought much about this movie, and pretty much went to see it because other people were and I didn't have anything else I wanted to see.
I wish I could get that hour and a half that felt like three hours of my life back.
If all of the jokes you could see coming, which is all of them, were at least funny, it might have been halfway worth seeing. But alas, I'm stupider for having seen this. Thought I might save someone else the trouble.
If this kind of movie looks like your cup of tea, rent Scary Movie. You'll still get Carmen Electra but you won't want to vomit.

You don't see SPOOF movies in the theatre....its a rule.
You only see them on DVD....or unless it has MEL BROOKS name attached to it

I think it was something about trying to think a 60-something year old Sly was still a full-on combat bad-a$$ and that thought not really making sense had a lot to do with it. I only liked the original Rambo but not the sequels.
Don't get me wrong, I liked a lot of the 80's action movies, but I'm kinda happy that the Stallone and Schwarzenegger movies are behind us. I like action movies to have at least some degree of story behind them, and too often they didn't. Which doesn't, in any way, explain why I saw Meet the Spartans if that was my expectation does it...? SHAME ON ME!!!!!
Anyway it sucked a really whole lot, so I thought that if I could just save one other person, just one (!) that this whole thread would be worth it!
