I sit on a Dear every night but I don't have any pictures either, the Deer show up despite this fact .

Yeah Scott . . . I think they're cool too.

The close up head shot picture was taken from my dinning room as the deer peeked in the window.

I've been keeping track of generational changes for fifteen years and can tell which parents some of them have decended from by their coloration and markings.

We had a total albino show up last winter . . red eyes, pink ears/nose/hooves and it was pure white . . . not one speck of any pigmentation! Needless to say it didn't make it through the summer with all the mountain lions we have.

Now I'm seeing a few yearlings around with white patches so the gene was apparently passed on.

It's no wonder . . . . supposedly the chance is between 1 in 30,000 and 1 in 100,000 that a Deer will be a true albino.
