Picked this figurine of my favorite B-ball player up yesterday at Toys R' Us while looking for more BigTime Muscle cars.
I love McFarlane toys, extremely detailed, well made, and real collectible.
I know, I know, why did I open it up? Well, I just had to! I couldnt leave Bird with his legs unattached.
Anyways, I'm picking up the limited Larry Bird Variant (White Jersey) this week Not opening that one up for sure.

Cool he used to work for Molson's Canada and because when I was 14 and found a straw is a cealed beer bottle , one morning this Tall blond dude Larry Bird sows up at my door step with a case in each arm and a sorry for the straw, If I dig his Buis card up I'll post it , now this was 28 years ago but it was him.

Oh heres another one , they took one of the Ferry's this week and used it to truck only a film crew and cast to an Island I cannot remember the name of the movie to be But Nicholas Cage is there so I'll boogie over there on my day off and try and get him to get in my Mustang for a Ed's Mustang Gone in 60 seconds thingy, never hurts to try right ?

I hate basketball, but I love the mcfarlane figures. I have a few of the horror movie ones...Jason Voorhees, Freddy Kreuger, Chucky, Pinhead, Leatherface etc.....very cool

Yea, they are awesome. they are a blessing to sport collectors. Other commpanies are sooo bland and boring, McFarlane made it even better!
I love the jimi hendrix figurines. I hope they make a Led Zeppelin set of the members
