You sure do!

You guys are trading each other's spit. Chances are your DNA will match your best friend's.

This is how everyone in band is though.Everyone dates each others ex's except most of the time you dont date your best friends ex.What would band be without drama?

Band is the funnest school program.Drama is just one of the downsides.

This girl actually plays saxophone.Shes one of the best in the state at it too.

Plus in band I can get free guitar lessons.

You know there are established rules for this sort of thing. You always have to ask your buddy's permission to date his ex, it's a law. If he says no, you're allowed only one appeal and that's if you can date her until you bang her. If he doesn't cave on either then you have to walk away.

You might be young, but by now you should know that your character and self respect should not be for sale, regardless of the prize.

If you go ahead with your plan, be a man and let us know how the manipulation winds up.

This is THE rule about asking a friends ex out (It comes from the Guy Code, a law more unbreakable than anything else and more useful than peeing standing up):

Wait until six months after the relationship is over. Then ask him, then he has to say yes (otherwise he is not a man). Of course, if you fail to wait six months he still has to say it is OK (otherwise he is not a man), but he won't be your friend, and will look for revenge.

It is irrelevant whether or not the break-up is mutual because no break-up is mutual, there is only one person who wanted to break up and the other who doesn't admit he/she didn't want to break up.

He called me last night and said that he is going out with one of my ex's,but when we broke up it was a mutual thing like him and his ex.Does this change the situation any?
[/quote]

Depends, did he wait six months? If not, you don't have to ask, you are now entitled to revenge.

I love being a guy, our rules are simple, like this one:

Rule about getting in a fist fight with a friend - Done fighting, good, go have beer with him, loser buys.

more girl rules:

if a female friend shows up wearing the same clothes as you, you're no longer friends

if a female friend upsets you, even a little, you're no longer friends

if a female friend... eh, who're you kidding, she thinks you're a ho and you think she's a ho.

I have never had a girlfriend.......I have girls who I talk to......BUT I have never had a close tell all pillow and tickle fight close girlfriend. All my friends have always been men- they aren't backstabbing witches. Course now that I am married I have no male friends who aren't part of a couple unless you count Brian and he's pretty much all I need to keep me amused and happy...

When you are 15, it is SOOOOO not life.
Everyone I know who was Soooooooooo in love at 15(me included) are either divorced from the idiot they married or it didn't last more than 3 weeks anyhow.

I didn't fall real in love till my 19th birthday-and even then it took me 2 years to get him to see past "friendship".
