so far in bham we've got mild winds <10mph. However 'Bama's gulf coast is getting ROCKED!. Panama city is devistated from what I've heard. Talked to someone who'se hubby is a LEO in PC and he talked to her and said that Capt. Andersons (famous charter boat place/resturaunt) was wiped out.

Sad day.. lots more for us to come.

 

Wheres April??? Hope you guys are still safe and have power. Weather channel said 250,000 outages in Alabama already. It looks like Birmingham is getting alot of wind and rain. Its 6:42 a.m. here in SC. We are in for very heavy rain and there is a flood warning in effect. :notnice:

Yay i'm at work now.... just south of Bham. My parents have lost power northwest of where I am, but they are in a rural area. Its raining and the wind is picking up quite a bit. I hope I dont stay here long today.

 

I'm here.
I took advantage and slept in. Hubby got me up and advised showers and coffee.
Nothing too bad here yet, maybe around two.

I go down here two weekends a year.
In the background here is my favorite cobra track and the mini golf, and this huge bull has been at this steakhouse my whole life. Where am I gonna vacation now?
PS- next weekend is my anniversary, I was supposed to go :angry:

 

no kidding! I'll miss it, but i'm sure they will build back if its true. I took my first deepsea fishing boat out of there and I'll never forget it (major storm coming up and we go out with 6-10ft swells on a 25ft boat). Just glad I wasnt in the gulf last night..
