Thats a history of cat 5 hurricanes. Winds of 165 right now and it probably will intensify ... charlyey was on the same path a month ago, and was only a 2 when it went over cuba, going up to a 4 when it hit. Ivan is a 5 already ... might have sustained winds in the area of 200 mph by the time it hits the states.

It's supposed to be a weak Cat 3 when it hits Florida. We've had 3 tropical systems in that area of the Gulf Coast in the past month, and the waters there are much cooler than normal, so it should weaken well before it strikes U.S. land.

I figured out what Florida did to tick off Mother Nature..
They took a lovely tourist town and turned it into a condo paradise...And CLOSED MIRACLE STRIP
And today Ivan is taking aim at PC beach then Bama. Boogity. Just leave the goofy golf and Flamingo Hotel alone.
The thing just won't die. Its a 5 again today.

My news just said Mobile Al. if it stays on track. FUN! Its gonna rain. As long as I keep power, I don't care what it does. The sims2 comes out tomorrow, I need my amusement.

Our weatherman has never been happier this morning. Ivan will be visiting us tomorrow. I am glad I have no shopping to do, and my car lives in a garage.
A friend of mine's family business is rental homes on the gulf in Fort Morgan al., They have 400+ sheets of plywood to hang today on all the windows.
I feel for them.
My friends in Florida are relieved- so am I, No Ivan there means power in Orlando which means I get paid this week.

Here's the Latest Satelite Image of Ivan as of 10:00 pm Tuesday Night, September 14th. I am So glad it isn't gonna hit Tampa Directly, since I saw how Frances Messed us up as a Tropical Storm, 5 days without power and water really wasn't any fun, and the houses behind my Parents place, probably 100 Houses, all got Flooded. Some completly under water. Now I am concerned about my Aunt that lives in Tallahassee.

You would think its armageddon or something. I live 238 miles from the beach, and the news here is going insane. Good lord, the grocery stores are empty. Guess I will go get some water and batteries for the sky fi.

They're coming to take me away hee hee haa haa....
I forgot- no coffee and no shower make my family not want to be around me.
. I have books and a radio, I just need happy things. IF I have to pay the electric bill, they need to keep my power on. Just try missing a payment and see what happens......
