I am a PC.....

Ya, so what. I am tired of this lame advertising stint by Microsoft. Today was the final straw when they decided to incorporate it into the background of MSN.com which not only messes up the main window frame but causes IE to crash. Nice one there Microsoft. So am I going to submit my own video in which I will say....."I am a pc that was tired of crashing so I switched to mac."

Try this. go to www.msn.com. Wait for those **** vids to start showing in the background. Now browse to another site such as TMS. Now in the address bar type www.msn.com. I am on IE 6.1 (at work) and doing that causes IE to crash every single time.

mine doesnt hang up, and I kinda like the ad, those mac ads portray PC users (me) as being only white collar business types. I'm glad Microsoft is showing that it isnt, I like those Windows Mojave commercials too. I have Vista, and I love it.

well I hope that you made or will make a back up disc or flash stick back up of your user sign in and have a second admin even with a dummy name as it was a windows Vista update or windows live one care that screwed mine up & I could not access anything admin so the only way to get back in was to delete that user profile them make a new one thus Looking a whole wack of info that went or was assigned to said profile. It was a real P.I.T.A

Huh. The only thing between my chair and my keyboard is me, surely you're not talking about me. If so, then maybe you should put a on your post. Because I was not talking about you.

My problem with it is the fact that I have been working on computers since 1986 and Windows since Windows 3.1. I am not the typical user that is only interested in checking mail and surfing the net. However, since I am a tech, not only do I deal with the problems that creep up on my machine (which I no longer use) but constant calls from clients so I know of most of the issues with the Windows O/S'. Vista, as it stands right now, has more issues than XP but not as many problems as when Millenium was released. Now, I use to tell people that Mac's sucked, because they did. Anything before OS X was pretty sad, but they did work. OS X Tiger and Leopard are pretty rock solid. I have had 3 mac's in the past 2 1/2 years (upgraded each time) and family members currently own my previous ones. Out of this time only twice have I ever had a problem where the OS stopped responding and the machine rebooted. I surely cannot say that about any Windows O/S.....ever. Each O/S has is plus and cons, but for stability, I would say Mac wins hands down.

Totally cool, I was taken aback as I was joking, and now that I look at it, I forgot the jester too. Sorry for getting a little bent out of shape there.

a mac is fine for most people. I custom build my pcs and tweak them change out the components and love the customization and upgrade ability of a pc. When i see these macs for like $2000 bucks i look at the specs and am like, i can go build a pc for $500 with the same specs. Like Gary said, i am a cheap bastard, but i don't consider that being cheap i see it as being smart with my money.
