Yeah, well the eastern side of the eye is headed straight at me. Watch the farthest western point of jefferson county and thats where I am where the tuscaloosa/walker county lines meet at jefferson county. Its gonna be rough. Im probably going back to the fire department in a lil while cause I kno I am going to have to cut tree's tonight.

 

UGH we have no power.
We lost it at 8 last night.
No power makes me unhappy- no coffee and no blowdryer.
I slept on my couch last night cause it was hotter than hades in the bedroom.

I did spend hte night at the fire dept. cutting tree's last night

 

Hey April. That's nothing. I've actually slept on the pourch swing when we had no power. Real nice & cool out there. Of course I also had 4 cats sleeping with me.

My mom thought I was nuts. And another time my friend & I came closerthanthis to actually sleeping out on her deck on floats by their pool.

 

Sit on it.
I drove to Atlanta and back
AND won $10 in scratch offs
AND I came home with power.
We had a transformer blow :notnice: last night.
My mama had power so I got my coffee and shower!

 

Try sleeping on the back deck of an M-1 tank in a sleeping bag in Germany in the middle of winter! The back deck stays warm if you run the engine for a while. Only problem was is there was alot of moisture in the air so I woke up covered with a small layer of ice on my sleeping bag. It was great in the winter but, way too hot in the summer.

 

Whew....glad you finally got a shower, wow!!

I'm glad everyone is okay.

It rained like a cow exquisite feeling release of liquid waste product on a flat rock all the way to Atlanta.

THEN I got the "special treatment" at Hartsfield because I had buckles on my capris which set off the alarms. I felt like Richard Reid shoeless and spread eagled.
All this cause I wanted to meet my kid at customs!

Then the Lovely foreign LADY who assaulted me with the wand broke my (brand new)purse confiscating my lovely purple cigarette lighter. :bang:

Ticked off someone I guess. I think the woman who wanded me was into chicks- I felt violated. AND my special bamboo handles on my pink butterfly purse are broke now.
To boot, I was wearing sandals. WTF could I hide in Sandals??
