Sadly, I don't disagree with some of the suggestions

ahh tried to read that article but lost interest around paragraph 3. I think Lucas should have made the 3 final movies not the prequels. We already know where the prequels are going... :jedi:

First, the article is meant to be humorous, but there's a grain of truth sprinkled into it. He probably wrote it out of frustration.

CGI used properly would be fine. The old movies looked so much more "real" because they were models that could be "aged" and shot in real enviroments. The new movies look amazingly fake -- like someone created them on a MAC (which, honestly, isn't too far off probably).

It doesn't help when the dialogue is wooden and the actors look bored.

The plots were somewhat thin, too...almost transparent. As a great fan of the "orginals", I've been extremely disappointed on the execution of these prequels. I still like them, but don't have the fervor I did for the first ones. I think Lucas has pretty much lost it and has become too much a purist and zealot of Star Wars. He needs to stop directing them and let others direct. Oh well...one left to go.

u are right but then again what other series do you have to wait your whole life to see all the movies? he needs to take notes from peter jackson (lord of the rings)

make the movies already.

Face it, there is "no hope" (pun not intended) for the "new" Star Wars ....

I would spend my time and money more wisely .....

I'm sticking with Spider-man ...... Much more entertaining and exciting ....
