we have a gas prices subforum where you can find others talking about this also...
gas prices have changed everything for our family...we hardly go to town anymore and we're considering selling our house and moving into town just because of the ridiculous prices

I am fifteen and this gas i'll tell you crushed every dream I ever had about muscle car's. Those smart cars are starting to look a little nicer than before.

They always have. But think of the folks in Europe. Their taxes on gas are more than twice what we pay and their gas is now well over six bucks a gallon. Do you wonder why they build small, fuel efficient cars? Sadly, our public transportation system is almost nonexistent here. Sigh.

If you live within a 30 minute walk to work, try the shoe leather express. You'll save money and the exercise will be good for you. If you're farther away than that think about riding a bicycle.

Extreme? Not at all. Just practical.

Well, i say: you guy's don't have to worry for now..
But I DO have to worry about keeping my Mustang or sell it..
last week our gas prices went from € 1,44 to € 1,56
In U.S. funds this means $ 7,50 A GALLON!!!! here in Holland
If i fill my gastank entirely it'll cost me about 95.00 Dollar
That's insane!!

Yeah, gas prices in Europe is what probably keeps me from getting a Mustang as a daily driver.

I am sad to say that I have stopped using my mustang. I have stolen my wife's Honda and am now using that to commute it. I am getting withdrawal symptoms!

See.. jgsmuzzy has to drive a Honda now, that's terrible! (joking)
Threy are stealing our money!
I go to work on my bike now, i can't afford driving my Mustang
if i go to work with the stang it'll cost me around 300 dollars a month!! (only the gas) then my ensurance expects 150 dollars from me every month and roadtax also claims 50 every month... (pffff roadtax  )
geeeezzzz 500 dollars a month to drive a Mustang??? If it was not a hobby i would sell it...

Rien..
