Hand Held Navigation

Does anyone have a handheld navigation unit. I played with a TomTom (model GO 510) in Office Max yesterday and I loved it. The only drawback was the $600 price. It was really easy to operate. I haven't ever messed with the Garmin or any other brand units. Are they all so easy to operate or do you need a PHD to figure them out? I want one of these for Christmas.

I've looked at the website and don't understand the major differences between the model 510 and the cheaper Model 300.

I have the MIO 269+. Dunno if it's available in the US, but it's a great handheld unit.

I used to have an earlier version of TomTom, but I was very disappointed with the software and the customer support.
