Halloween pumpkin carves for 2010

Ok , while waiting for freaking youtube to get my video loaded, I decided to go ahead and do pictures...yet again (this totally bites).

Frankenstein. Should look a bit familiar from a few years ago. I did two of them for some relatives this year

Another repeat from the past, but one that was a customer carve

One of two I did for my local Childrens Hospital here in Kansas City

Second one for Childrens Hospital

A 'vampire' type of carve.

For my two daughters Dance School teacher

Did two of these, one for me, one for a buddy

Gargoyle-ended up liking this alot more than I expected. I need to do another so I can set them on both sides of the sidewalk.

A new Doc Holiday to replace the one I sold

Adding more in next post.

Part 2

Dracula carve for a customer

Michael Meyers for a customer

Jason for a customer

One of my personal favorites this year. London After Midnight. The green makes this one.

More detailed version of Frankenstein. Picture does it no justice...Its much better in person.

Batman

Part 3 incoming.

Prolly my favorite 4 of this season:

Elvis-the one that got in Rolling Stone Online. Did this for my mom who is a HUGE Elvis fan.

Spiderman In The Rain-Love the emotion it evokes (IMO)

Hooded Skull

A second Darth Vader. I saw this pattern first, but decided it wasnt as good. I looked at it again a few weeks ago and decided it was better than I initially thought so I gave it a try. I friggin LOVE it.

In addition to these, I got two older carves and one from this year added to rolling stone magazine online:

If I ever get the video to finish processing, I'll link it.

Wow those are simply amazing.

If you could figure out a way to ship them I bet you could make a killing.

I know I would buy some. My kids would love those.

Thanks guys.

They're made of foam...shipping is as easy as putting in a box. I've been shipping them around the U.S. for a few years now.

Actually, I'm in the process of getting one set up. I own the domain: www.thegourdsgonewild.com already and someone is suppose to be working on having it up and running here in hopefully a week or so.

If any of you saw something you might be interested in or have a subject you might like to have made into a pumpkin, please feel free to send me an email at: gonewild@kc.rr.com

Pricing will depend on the intricacy of the needed carve (time spent) plus the initial cost of materials ($20 for the foam pumpkin I get at Michaels arts and crafts store).

The best part is still the fact that these pumpkins last forever as long as you take care of them so in my mind (and those of the people who've already purchased some from me) they are worth it.
