A Bentley it is. 1959 R type. No fartcan muffler or neon, must've been a base model.

hahaha, I think the purists would kill anyone that tried that. I read they wanted lennon lynching for what he did to his rolls!

I'm out on this one. Viewing the image in a separate window reveals the name of the car (so don't do it).

Mobster--thank you and curses to you sir! Thank you for resurrecting this thread--it is my favorite by far--and curses because you have thoroughly stumped me with this one. Cars of this vintage are not my forte. Hopefully some else is more knowledgable in this field.

Maybe put a 12 (24?) hour rule on this thread too (like the movie quote one)?

The way we played the game when this thread first started was with a 24 hour time limit to guess the car. The one who guessed the car correctly then got to post another one. You can't post a guessmobile until either the original car's identity is revealed either by a correct guess or by the original poster. Those are good rules so let's adhere to them.

Dang. I knew the Tucker Torpedo but I just got home from work, so I guess I don't get the cigar. Zoltan's pic stumped me though.

The first generation of these was powered by a Ford 302 V-8 Engine, and was one of the first street driveable high performance mid engine cars. this is the contemporary version
